Sharan Birring, Senior Associate

Sharan Birring heads up the legal team at Quantum Law Associates. After graduating from King’s College, London Sharan was called to the Bar and continues to be a member of the prestigious Middle Temple.

Before joining Quantum Law Associates, Sharan worked at a leading private immigration practice based in London in a Senior Associate capacity, there she was head of legal training and development.

Sharan also has experience in the public sector having started her career at the Refugee Legal Centre, there she represented asylum seekers and those requiring legal aid in both initial applications to the Home Office, First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal Appeals.  On several occasions Sharan has had cases heard in the High Court.  Sharan is a formidable advocate and ensures that the best interests of her client are represented throughout the judicial process and has enjoyed considerable success in both private and legal aid practice. Sharan’s experience in attending Court and interviews with the Home Office means that she is well equipped to deal with the most complex of cases.

Sharan is passionate about private practice and now represents clients in both family immigration matters and points based system applications. She has a particular focus on business immigration and regularly advises on visas for High Net Worth individuals and corporations.

Sunny Sandhu, Senior Associate

Sunny has been working in the immigration sector for 4 yrs. He is a highly skilled and experienced caseworker with particular knowledge of Tier 2 work, family settlement and Tier 1 entrepreneur applications.

Sunny has developed a strong client base of UK businesses on account of unrivalled experience in obtaining sponsor licences, and is the ‘go to’ for businesses with Tier 2 enquiries. Sunny obtained his Degree from the University of Westminster before passing the OISC level 1 exam and joining QLA as a Caseworker.

He previously worked at Hatton Cross Immigration and Asylum Hearing centre, as well as at Isleworth Crown Court, both  of which gave him valuable knowledge of criminal and immigration law in practice.  Sunny’s close proximity to the Judiciary gave him an invaluable insight into how cases are managed and how best to present cases in Court.  Sunny is known for being direct with advice and his problem solving skills, and his perseverance in obtaining successful outcomes on behalf of clients is his key strength.

Lucrezia Bosio, Junior Associate

Lucrezia joined the legal team at Quantum Law Associates in September 2018. Having acquired a Bachelor’s in European and International Law at Maastricht University, the Netherlands, in July 2016, she is well versed in the legal field.

After acquiring her LL.B, Lucrezia moved to Spain where she discovered the world of business first-handby working for the international consultancy company Deloitte acting as the regional coordinator in the HP project for all of Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Lucrezia was first exposed to the immigration field when she worked as a marketing and communications researcher for the NGO Street Child. Following this, she joined the International Cooperation department in the NGO TECHO Costa Rica; whereshe specialised in managing immigration projects between Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Since joining Quantum, Lucrezia has specialised in Spousal visas and family matters, EU immigration, and British nationality. Having lived in different countries, she is well versed in the complexities of immigration laws allowing her to provide a global perspective, and she is consequently very passionate regarding this subject.

Gabriella Fernandez, Junior Associate

Gabriella joined Quantum Law Associates in August 2017. She has a solid legal foundation, having obtained a Bachelor’s in Law from Coventry University and completed a year abroad studying International Relations at the European University of Madrid. Since joining Quantum, Gabriella has been exposed to a variety of complex immigration matters including EEA matters, Family Settlement, Naturalisation and Tier 1 Entrepreneur applications.

Gabriella is passionate for providing legal support and is adept in legal research, information management and document drafting. Gabriella is confident in performing a variety of roles and is known for her confident and meticulous manner in which she deals with both the administration and immigration matters of the firm.
